Tak jsem tady! Pustili mě! :)

Už je skoro 8h. Probudila jsem se asi v sedm hodin ráno, a už jsem nemohla usnout. Kdo by se tomu divil, když v ČR je už skoro 14h.

Ale vezměme to od začátku.

V Londýně jsem se vyspala skvěle. Řekla bych, že tam mají lepší postel, než co mám doma. Takže z takové postele se člověk do té své ani tak extra netěší :D Já mám totiž ráda široké měkké postele. Ráno jsem se setkala s dítětem, tak se ho O. ptala, jestli si mě pamatuje, a on řekl, že moc ne :D O. mě na to večer trochu připravila, tak mě to nějak nebralo. Mám ho ráda, ale asi zas tak extrémní vztah jsme neměli. Tak jsem se tam s nima nasnídala, oni odešli do školy, já chvilku pobyla v pokoji, a pak jsem se vydala do Ealing Broadway centra. Šla jsem přes ten úžasný park, o kterém jsem vám tu jednou básnila, a hádejte, co se stalo! Oni ho nějak rekonstruují!! Takže jsem se dostala jenom do té obyčejnější části! Ty hezký místa byly všechny zavřený!! :( Tomu říkám pech! Jinak je ale Ealing, s výjimkou pár podniků, stále stejný. Setkala jsem se u metra s Anni. S tou jsem loni trávila asi nejvíc času. Je stále v Londýně, ale teď v jiné části. Přijela ale kvůli mně, tak jsme šly spolu trochu nakupovat, a pak ještě do toho parku zavzpomínat, a nakonec jsme šly na druhé metro Northfields, a tam jsme se rozloučily. Bylo to fakt skoro jako před rokem. Bylo to super! Skvělý setkání! :)

Pak jsem se už jenom vrátila domů, popovídala s O., a S. mě pak hodil na metro, kterým jsem jela rovnou na letiště, terminál 5. Cesta metrem z Northfields na letiště trvá 25 minut. To je docela dobrý :) Letiště je obrovský. Letenku jsem už měla, tak jsem chtěla už normálně jít ke kontrole, ale nějak mě to nechtělo pustit, tak jsem se musela vracet na přepážku. Tam mi zkontrolovali pas, a pak už to šlo. U prohlídky příručního zavazadla jsem asi půlhodiny vytahovala všechny tekutiny, a musela je dávat do jejich jednoho speciálního pytlíku. Ani mi nešel zavřít, to ale naštěstí nikdo neřešil. To vlastně ani netrvalo tak dlouho, ale asi 15 minut jsem pak čekala v řadě na projití těmi dveřmi, protože jim vždycky nějaká ženská zapípala, a pak ji asi 5 minut zkoumali. Chlapi chodili rychlejc, ale ten chlap za tím nás ženský přijmout nemohl. Na mě nemělo co pípat, tak mě to čekání štvalo. Ale pak jsem se konečně dostala dovnitř, uklidila zase všechnu elektroniku a tekutiny do tašky, která šla zavřít jen těžko, a šla si najít nějaké místo k sezení. To letiště je fakt kolos. Nicméně Jsem prostě dlouho čekala, pak přešla ke své bráně, a pak jsme se konečně naládovali do autobusů, ze kterých jsme šli do letadla. Letadlo bylo asi celý plný, já byla někde vzadu, a byl tam krásný klid. Shlédla jsem 2 filmy, jeden seriál, a spala jsem asi půl hodiny. Nějak jsem nebyla unavená. Jen mi vadilo, že to letadlo dost hučelo, jinak letělo hezky klidně :) Z letadla jsem viděla v dálce New York City, a dokonce jsme letěli i přes Allentown, který je hned vedle Bethlehemu, takže ten jsem taky viděla :)

Po přistání jsme museli strašně dlouho čekat v řadě na imigračním, nebo jak se to jmenuje. A to ještě bylo dobrý, že jsme tam byli sami jen lidi z našeho letu, bylo skoro 21hodin, a letiště bylo dost prázdný. Když jsem přišla na řadu, tak jsem jim tam nechala otisky prstů, a pán se mě ptal, co budu dělat v USA, a kdo mi tu cestu platí, kde budu ubytovaná a kdy odjíždím. Tak jsem řekla, že jedu na návštěvu první ke kamarádce, a pak do církve v Bethlehemu, kde budu bydlet u pastorů té církve, a budu vypomáhat s jejich aktivitami. Měla jsem tam i papír, kde jsem měla obě adresy, kde budu, a telefonní čísla, tak jsem mu to tam dala, a tak mě teda pustil :) Našla jsem svůj kufr, který už je teda dost omlácený, a utrhli mi tam kus kapsy, ještě na jedné kontrole jsem nechala takovej ten lístek, co jsme vyplňovali v letadle, ohledně toho, co vezu do USA, a šla jsem do příletové haly! Čekala tam na mě Jo, její taťka, a brácha. Tak mě přivítali, a jeli jsme k nim domů. Asi mi to pořád moc nedocházelo :D Doma mě přivítala i Jo mamka, tak jsme si sedli na chvíli do obýváku, a povídali jsme si. Mají to tu moc krásný. Bylo už skoro 23h, a všichni byli unavení, až na mě :D Sice jsem zívala, ale nebyla jsem nějak extrémně unavená, i když v Čechách tou dobou už bylo 5h ráno. Asi to bylo tím, jak jsem byla celá nadšená, že už tam jsem. Ale když jsme šli spát, tak jsem s usnutím problém neměla :)

A tak začalo moje místní dobrodružství :)

I am here! They let me in! :)

It’s almost 8 am. I woke up at 7 and couldn’t fall asleep anymore. Who would be surprised when in the Czech Republic at that time was 1 pm.

But let’s take it from the beginning.

I slept so well in London. The bed might be even better than the one I have at home. So I can’t really look forward to my bed at home :D I like those wide soft beds. In the morning I met the kid, so O. asked him whether he remembered me, and he said that “not really” :D O. prepared me for that in the evening so I wasn’t very surprised. I like him but we didn’t have that close relationship. I had spent there only two months. I had breakfast with them and they went to school. I was in my room for a while and then went to Ealing Broadway centre. I walked through this beautiful park I told you about and guess what! There is some construction and all of the nice parts of the park were closed!! :(( That’s tough luck! Otherwise, Ealing is still the same. I met Anni at the tube. Anni was a person I spent the most time with last year. She is Estonian and still lives in London although in a different part, so she came to meet me. We went shopping, for a tea, and to the park to remember the old times a bit. Then, I walked with her to the other tube station – Northfields and we said goodbye to each other. It was really like the old times. And I loved it. I was so happy to have seen her! :)

So then I just went back home, talked to O., and S. then took me to the tube station that went directly to the airport, to the Terminal 5. The tube journey takes 25 minutes which is quite good. The airport is huge. I already had the ticket and didn’t have the luggage, so I wanted to just go to the control, but the machines wouldn’t let me in so I had to go back to the counter where they checked my passport and then I finally could go. At the hand baggage check I had to take out all the liquids and put them into one special bag that they gave me. I couldn’t have my own. And I couldn’t close the bag but luckily no one noticed. But then I had to wait maybe 15 minutes for going throught that beeping door because almost every woman had something that beeped and then they had to check here very thoroughly and it took so long! The guys were faster, there weren’t that many guys I would say. Or it was easier with them. And the guy there couldn’t accept us women. So it took really long. I was really annoyed by it because I knew I wouldn’t beep. There was nothing on me that could possible beep. And I didn’t. So then I collected all my stuff and realized that when you put all your valuables out there and then have to wait 15 minutes, someone could so easily stole those things there while waiting. Luckily, I had everything there. The airport is so big. But there are signs everywhere so it wasn’t too difficult to find my way. We finally got to the airplane by buses because the plane was somewhere far from the terminal, I sat almost in the back of the plane which was good because it was quite quiet. I watched two movies, one episode of Friends, and slept less than an hour. I wasn’t tired. The plane was quite comfortable but quite loud. I saw the lights of New York City from the plane, and we even flew above Allentown which is right next to Bethlehem. So I got to see that as well :)

After the landing we had to queue for the immigration or what is that. And it was actually quite good because our plane was the only there at the time (I think). The airport was so quiet and empty. It was almost 9 pm. When I got to the desk, I left there my finger prints and the man asked me what was I going to do in the US, who was paying my journey, where would I stay and when I leave. So I told him that I was going to visit my friends and then a church in Bethlehem, where I would be living with the pastors of the church and I would be helping with the activities there. I also had a paper with all the addresses where I would be staying and phone numbers so I gave it to him, and then he left me. I found my suitcase which was quite battered, and went out. Jo, her dad and her brother were waiting for me there. It was so nice. At home I met Jo’s mum, and brother. We sat down for a while in the living room and talked for a while. They have a really nice house. It was almost 11 om and everybody was tired but me. Well, I was kinda tired and yawning but I wasn’t that tired. Weird. Maybe it was because I was so excited to be here. But anyway, I didn’t have any problem falling asleep.

And that’s how my adventure started :)
