Z Čech až na konec světa. Aneb takhle si Alois Jirásek představoval konec světa. A my jsme se na něj nakonec taky vydali. A že to stálo za to!

One of the Czech writers wrote a book called From the Czech Republic to the World's End. The end of the world was this beautiful place. So, if there was a whole book written about a journey to this place, we could not miss out on the opportunity of visiting it!

Několik cípů vyčnívá do oceánu na jihovýchodním pobřeží Portugalska. Když tam dojedete, tak můžete strávit několik hodin koukáním na nekonečně modrou plochu. Pokud vám vysvitne sluníčko jako nám, tak to bude obzvlášť krásná podívaná. Ale pozor, nenechte se unést větrem z útesů. Ačkoliv je zábava se nad ně nahýbat, vše to je tak trochu na vlastní nebezpečí.

The cliffs are pointing their tips to the ocean in the southeastern coastline of Portugal. When you get there, you might spend hours looking at the endless blue space. If the sun comes out as it did for us, the experience will be much better. But be careful and do not let the wind carry you away ;) It is fun walking on the cliffs, but it is all at your own risk.

Doporučuji vzít si s sebou piknik a na útesech se najíst. Jen si sedněte na nějakou igelitku, já jsem si naprosto zničila bundu trávou a bahnem. Jídlo jsme nakoupili v supermarketu v městečku Sagres, které je asi 5 km od těchto útesů. 

I also recommend bringing some food and having a picnic on the cliffs. Just be careful where you sit, because I ruined my jacket by sitting on it and staining it with some grass and mud. Still, it was worth it. We actually bought the food in a village nearby called Sagres. 

Na útesech si budete připadat jako úplní mravenečci. Ale to bylo na tom tak krásné. Ta velikost a nádhera něčeho, co tu bylo, je a bude a my to můžeme obdivovat. Nikdy se nechci přestat divit a žasnout nad věcmi tak krásnými :)

You might feel like really tiny ants on the cliffs. But that the beauty of it. The magnitude, the vastness of the ocean, the beauty of somethingy that has been, is and will be here for us to admire. I never want to stop being surprised and marvel at things so gorgeous :)
